Eclipse will only log into Sage X3 using basic authentication, there is no support for certificate authentication or login using Single Sign-On.
Sage KB article KB240326090119803 states for SSO deployed systems a separate Syracuse installation with basic authentication enabled would be required to allow Eclipse login access, but with changes to Cyber Essentials (as of April 2025) requiring MFA authentication for all applications means basic authentication is not an option for any customers looking to certify.
Looking for a solution to support coding and developments where basic authentication is not an option, whether there is a way to enable SSO and/or certificate authentication with Eclipse or an alternative to Eclipse that does.
