Does Sage X3 support MFA in Intranet network environment?

I know Sage X3 could tentatively support MFA by moving the authentication work to OAuth2 token from major authentication services like Google Workplace / Microsoft Azure (Graph API) but on a condition Sage X3 must be exposed to public Internet with HTTPS for the two-way communication for authorized OAuth2 provisioning.
