Preference of Site Map or Landing Pages - V12

Why can't we have a User Preference of where you default to, either the Site Map, or the Landing Pages.  There is nothing more frustrating than exiting from a function, and being re-directed back to the Landing Pages, rather than the Site Map. Thanks.

    Delivered in 2024 R1: The user will have the choice to simply set up their navigation page as the default home page (and they can change their minds later)
