on x3, there are a huge number of functional authorizations to manage, so the application would have to tick the boxes for authorizations already assigned
So that we know which authorizations have already been assigned, and can uncheck the boxes to remove them.

As far as I know, removal of a function access needs to be done in the functional authorization screen.
