This would solve a major annoyance for customers. For orders with long lead times (shipping from China to Europe) the Shipment flow allows updating the Expected Receipt Date. In the regular intersite/intercompany flow that is often not possible. Because once the Delivery for the SO related to the PO has been created, that SO line is closed and the related SO line cannot be modified.
