X3 currently affords us the ability to specify a safety stock on the product site record that the system will incorporate into the demand planning for the MPS and MRP processors. For many clients they have stocking agreements with their customers to maintain certain inventory levels of certain products. Currently there is no mechanism in X3 to distinguish these customer specific safety stock elements but rather it is just one rolled up number on the product site. A useful enhancement to Sage would be for the development of a stocking agreement workbench that would allow the user to input in each customer specific safety stock element and then the system would roll this up automatically in the safety stock field on the product site.
