Current set-up on lot expiration date to ship material between intersite orders requires that that expiration date be pushed out or extended to ship back to the manufacturing facility to dispose or re-work material. When you extend the expiration date, you are not able to do this without affecting all inventory at all locations/sites and leaves the potential to ship expired material to customers as well as having to go back and modify the expiration dates back to the original expiration date.
