When entering weekly KM readings for a vehicle, the weekly KM number is currently entered against a Measurement ID. My request is to remove the Measurement ID fields when entering a reading and for the PM module to be smart enough to know when to kick off a minor or a major service based on the cumulating KM reading entered so far for the vehicle.
Currently the user is required to enter the weekly KM reading for a vehicle against the correct Measurement ID in order for a minor or a major service to be kicked off. This requires the user to add up all the weeks meter readings entered so far manually, in order to determine which measurement ID to enter the weekly KM reading against i.e. minor service measurement ID or a major service measurement ID, which leaves the system open to human error as the user can easily enter the reading against the incorrect measurement ID.
The preventative maintenance module should be smart enough to know based on the cumulative KM readings entered so far whether to kick off a minor or a major service.
