Currently in the Sage system (as of 12.0.33) when a client is employing major and minor version controls on an item the MPS and MRP processors will generate order suggestions in accordance with both the major and minor version codes. Conversely, the sales order allocation process will only take into account the major version of an item which can lend in part to the wrong minor version of an item being allocated to a sales order. Is there a design consideration with the order allocation process not taking into account the minor version that is specified or can we expect this to be updated in a future release?
