Currently the Copy Routings function can be used to take an existing "Source" routing alternate (ex: Code 1) and create a new "Target" routing alternate (ex: Code 2) by copying the source alternate routing code. If the Target code already has a routing defined then this function end execution without any updates. It would be a nice extension to this functionality if the Target routing code already had a routing defined for it that the system would present the user with a message informing them of the existing of the target routing code and then ask if this target routing code should be overwritten with the source routing.
